Oh Sheesh Y’all, tis a reality! What was a dream two months ago is now fully realized: The world’s most (and only) comprehensive Jake and Amir Script Database is complete.

Thanks to 158 different contributors on Reddit, we were able to transcribe all 596 episodes of our webseries into a searchable directory. (Special thanks to users PBDolphin23 and seeegma for transcribing over 125 episodes by themselves! And to user Take_the_RideX for spearheading the entire mission.)

The next step is creating a website that allows you to search a line or word from any episode and have that episode appear as a search result.

For now, you can search the subreddit by clicking here, and the corresponding scripts will come up. So if you ever remembered a line (“Are you really not coming on a walk with me?”) but can’t remember what episode it’s from, (“Files”) or you’re just curious to see how many episodes we bring up Leron (30) give it a shot.

Script Archive Contest

Hey everybody! Awhile ago, we had an idea to transcribe every single Jake and Amir video, and input those scripts into a searchable database. That would allow anybody to search any word or quote, and if one of our episodes contained that word or quote, it would come up as a search result. Cool!

However, transcribing nearly 600 episodes would have taken months… unless we got some help.

That’s when some awesome Redditors got together and created a Jake and Amir Script Archive, curated entirely by you, the fans. Anybody can upload a transcription of an episode, and mark it as ‘done’ on the master checklist. At the time of this post, as you can see on the right of the checklist, there have been 393 scripts submitted, in just a couple weeks. Wow!

We figured we’d help keep the momentum going by offering a FREE AUTOGRAPHED Jake and Amir Shirt to three randomly selected transcribers. So once we finish the database, we will choose three transcribers at random from the dozens that have uploaded a script and send them the prize. Holy guac!

To upload a transcription, just create a reddit account, and submit a new text post to the JakeAndAmirScript Subreddit. Follow the formatting of the hundreds of scripts that have already been uploaded.

IMPORTANT: Before you choose an episode to transcribe, check out the master list, and make sure nobody has transcribed it already, or is currently working on it. If it’s available, make sure you mark it as a work in progress, and completed when you complete it. That will help us keep it all organized.

More London Shows Added!

Due to demand (by our awesome UK fans) we’ve added FOUR more shows at the Soho Theater in London. These will be the only four shows we can add to this trip, so if you missed your chance last time, don’t delay! 

We’re so excited to be performing in Europe for the first time and we can’t wait to meet everybody that comes out.
